The entire selection process focuses on three core factors: working medium, operating temperature and corrosion environment, which can help users match the most cost-effective and durable gasket for their equipment.

For conventional working conditions with cooling water, mineral oil and common lye, NBR rubber is the most practical choice. It features excellent wear resistance, oil resistance and stable elasticity, suitable for the temperature range of -15℃ to 110℃. It is widely applied in general industrial cooling and HVAC systems with low medium corrosion, offering outstanding cost performance for long-term continuous operation.

For water-based, steam and weak acid-base working environments, EPDM rubber is the preferred option. HNBR rubber is suitable for high-temperature oil and sulfur-containing media with a maximum temperature resistance of 150℃, ideal for petrochemical processing. FKM rubber, as a high-end material, withstands strong acid, alkali and organic solvent corrosion, exclusively used for extreme high-temperature and heavy-corrosion industrial scenarios.

In short, targeted material selection based on actual working conditions can effectively extend gasket service life, reduce equipment failure rate and cut overall operation and maintenance costs.
