Plate material directly affects service life and performance of HVAC plate heat exchangers. As a professional manufacturer, we use different plate materials based on HVAC working conditions.
304 stainless steel is the most common choice for standard HVAC chilled water and hot water systems. It has good corrosion resistance for clean water, stable mechanical property and controlled cost. It fits most commercial building HVAC projects.
316L stainless steel is selected for water with higher chloride ion content. It offers better resistance to pitting corrosion. This material is widely used in coastal areas or projects with softened water.

Titanium plates are used for special media with high corrosion risk. It has strong anti-corrosion ability, but higher material cost, so it is only recommended for special HVAC working conditions.
Plate thickness is also controlled by our factory. Thinner plates improve heat transfer efficiency, while proper thickness guarantees structural strength under set pressure. All raw materials are inspected before production. We provide material certificates for each batch.
The plate material should match water quality and site environment. Our technical team will recommend suitable plate material for your HVAC project.
