As the core component of our heat exchange equipment, the PHE Rubber Gasket of the plate heat exchanger plays a vital role. The working temperature of the heat exchanger is also the temperature that the rubber gasket can withstand. The sealing rubber gasket not only seals the heat exchange medium to prevent it from leaking, but also prevents the materials from mixing with each other. However, when the plate heat exchanger leaks and the heat exchanger pipe is corroded, check whether the sealing rubber gasket is aging in time.

Fixed mode

In practical applications, we have various ways to fix the PHE Rubber Gasket to meet the needs of different customers:
The first is adhesive fixation, which is to apply sealant on the rubber gasket groove and directly paste the rubber gasket into the installation groove of the heat exchange plate to achieve a tight fit.
The second is inlay fixation, the heat exchange plate is designed with a special assembly hole, and the edge of the rubber gasket is equipped with rubber nails. After the rubber gasket is placed in the sealing groove, the rubber nail can be embedded in the assembly hole to ensure stability and reliability.
The third is snap-on fixation, the edge of the rubber gasket is designed with a mountain-shaped snap, which can be easily snapped on the heat exchange plate, which is convenient for installation and ensures sealing performance.

(1) Nitrile rubber NBR: -10～110℃, suitable for water, seawater, mineral oil, brine and other media;
(2) EPDM: -25～150℃, suitable for hot water, steam, acid, alkali and other media;
(3) Fluorine rubber FKM: -5～180℃, suitable for acid, alkali and other media;
(4) Tetrafluoroethylene rubber: 0～160℃, suitable for concentrated acid, alkali, high temperature oil, steam and other media;
(5) Hydrogenated nitrile HNBR: -10～150℃, suitable for high temperature mineral oil, high temperature water and nitrile rubber, etc.
