Thoroughly preparing for the installation of the heat exchanger can ensure the smooth progress of the installation work, meet various technical indicators of the installation, and ensure the quality of the installation.
1. Site preparation for construction
According to the construction site layout plan, conduct actual surveys of other aspects of the site, measure and determine the transportation route, parking position, unloading position, and whether the surrounding environment affects the transportation and installation of equipment, and coordinate with relevant parties to meet the lifting requirements. To clear the transportation road, it is necessary to ensure that the road is flat and solid, so that vehicles can pass smoothly and safely transport the heat exchanger to the site. The installation width should meet the installation requirements.
2. Acceptance of heat exchange equipment
Carefully inspect the drawings of the equipment, including the model, quality, geometric dimensions, pipe opening orientation, technical characteristics, etc. Refer to technical documents such as factory certificates, manuals, quality assurance certificates, etc. Check the equipment for any damage or missing parts (including shims, bolts, washers, accessories, etc.). Carry out inspections and acceptance records.
3. Basic acceptance
Before installing the heat exchanger, the foundation must be carefully inspected and handed over for acceptance. The basic construction unit shall submit quality certificates, measurement records, and relevant construction technical data. There should be clear elevation lines and vertical and horizontal centerlines on the foundation, and the foundation should be cleaned thoroughly. If there are defects, they should be treated.
4. Preparation for hoisting
The lifting department should prepare all the rigging equipment, such as cranes, holding poles, wire ropes, pulley blocks, reverse chains, and clamps, and carefully inspect them according to safety regulations. For large heat exchangers, due to their large diameter, multiple heating tubes, and heavy lifting weight, the lifting and binding position should be selected at the reinforced pad on the shell support, and wooden blocks should be installed on both sides of the shell to protect it from deformation caused by steel wire rope compression during lifting.
5. Develop a construction plan
In order to ensure the orderly progress of installation work, a construction plan should be prepared before installation. The content of the construction plan should include preparation instructions, preparation basis, project overview, construction preparation, construction methods and measures, technical measures and requirements, construction equipment, construction materials, construction personnel allocation, construction plan schedule, etc.
