Regular maintenance keeps HVAC plate heat exchangers running at designed efficiency and extends service life. Simple daily checks can prevent unexpected shutdown.
Check leakage at gasket joints every 1 to 3 months. Minor leakage usually comes from loose clamping bolts or aging gaskets. Adjust bolt tension evenly following factory operation manual. Do not tighten bolts unevenly, which may damage plates.
Monitor pressure difference between inlet and outlet. Rising pressure drop means fouling on plate surface. Fouling reduces heat transfer efficiency and increases pump load. Chemical circulation cleaning or offline cleaning can remove deposits. Cleaning cycle depends on water quality.
Inspect gaskets periodically. Gaskets will age under long time temperature change. Replace aged or cracked gaskets in time to avoid medium mixing. Stop the system and release pressure before disassembly.
Our factory supplies spare gaskets and maintenance guidance for all HVAC plate heat exchangers we produce. Proper maintenance reduces repair cost and keeps stable performance for your HVAC system over years.
